My mum's cousin has arrived from Singapore, the happiest place on Earth. We are preparing for a large desi gathering-my parents have been cooking all day. Four lasagnas, a pot of soup... not to mention appetizers and cake. In Singapore, they make all guys when they reach a certain age serve in the military.
Yesterday when I got home i had a total happy moment. Like, absolute satisfaction, being at ease with nature and the order of things. It was ah-maaaaaazing.
I received a new TI-30XIIS, which I have named this post after, for it is a very very ah-maaazing calculator, and I have been playing with it all day. Basis nerd lol :)))))
Viva, viva la musica:

classical crossover is addicting.
LIST: CURRENT OBSESSIONS:

Interval
We all stopped. Paused, rather.
Anywho, on to business.
I want to see quite a few movies. Precisely, two. PJO and Valentine's day, the first for obvious reasons and the second because it has so many famous actors/actresses in it I just have to. Actually, I want to see Avatar as well. However I think it is out of theatres at this point. What a shame...
So, I'm writing my dramatic monologue about Empress Wu Zetian of China. It is rather disturbing, however I do believe it will be appreciated by our english instructor who seems to enjoy these types of things.
Am I the only one that feels an adrenaline rush when I think of eighth grade? I plan on taking two electives: orchestra, as well as AP computer science. I also have a desire to take the history elective as it is my subject of favour however I have prioritized against it.
I want to cry when I think of leaving all you wonderful people in high school. The years I have created at Basis have defined who I am. In elementary school, I was a confused young child. Basis made me...reconsider. I defined who I was, and to leave it all behind? Even if I end up staying (I'm not quite sure yet) parts of me that are my friends will die, leave, depart. I wonder how we will all turn out. Just for fun:
Musey- hmm... activist and advocate for some greatly established charity, pediatrician
Sir Swish- famed NBA player, MVP every single year for his team
Caltra- animator who greatly diversifies the industry, bringing about radical technological advances in animation
Trili- wow, this is a hard one. What do you want to be, Trili? You're good at so many things!
Pipelette- fashion designer of Sweet Lolita outfits, starts greatly popular Lolita store with branches in Japan and America (for the otaku!!! :D)
av- astrophysicist who helps launch a rocket into space for NASA by doing complex calculations and such :)
bbjbj- crazy inventor who comes up with really awesome random contraptions that greatly improve our quality of life, and makes them from old tv dinner boxes and materials she finds laying around her house/other people's houses ;)
myself, at least, what I want to be-professor of business or chemistry in a graduate school, with a pHd and tenure, who gets to go to awesome places to teach programs and has an excuse to travel a LOT :D
That's all, folks! Stay tuned, and post often!
Yours Truly,
Alicia
