This whole "leaving","taking a break from blogger" thing, it's your choice, people. I'm quite frankly indifferent to it, but I know I'm not leaving anytime soon so feel free to keep reading my posts or if not then don't read them. Like I said, it's your choice.

Pre-comprehensives are coming up soon, a'ight? I'm quite sick of them. I think childhood is the time to have fun and enjoy yourself, granted you need to learn and work and all, but not slave away until we wilt, wither, rot, and die. Actually, I'm not quite sure but it might not be a gradual process. I've heard of some that just drop dead on the spot come the first testing day. I studied, regardless, but rather reluctantly. I studied countless hours more than my brief skimming of inadequate notes last year. I actually did not do half bad, but I could have done doubly better. You know? Anyhow, good luck to you all.

You know what? I like history. The field, I mean, not necessarily the BASIS course. But that is rather nice as well. However, my subject of favour varies from week to week. I suppose this week I like Rhetoric because we don't happen to have a pre-comp in it. I've always liked rhetoric. However, I'm rather fond of chemistry as well.

Anyhow, enough of my rambling on and on about inconsequential matters.
Now shoo, children, go and study. Just kidding. Not really. But seriously, go do whatever. It's your choice.

A Big Deal Made out of Nothing?

New Year's.... How is it significant? It's only the New Year because we humans made it so. If we had decided the New Year was to be on August 17 every two years, then we would have a big party then! I know that it has to do with the earth's rotations and such, but how does that mean that we get some kind of a "fresh start"? Every DAY is a fresh start! Every moment! Every nanosecond! And to celebrate? well, I'm not saying it's not fun, cuz it is =) I guess we humans just seize every chance to party, don't we? Well, this year I couldn't bring myself to make any resolutions. I sat down and said, I really truly said, "There is nothing that I could improve about my life." I guess I'm satisfied. Or maybe just too cynical to believe in the New Year.

Oh, and by the way...Sorry for considerably depressing you on New Year's day, Let me try to reverse the effects of my post.

GO PARTY, EVERYONE!!! GO EAT, EAT, AND EAT AGAIN!!! BECAUSE THAT IS THE TRUE SPIRIT OF NEW YEAR'S!

I just love food.

Have any of you heard of Vanessa Mae? I know Calz has. She's extremely cool. Her music is purely instrumental but FAR from boring. She has one album with traditional songs from around the world, but she makes them jazzy and adds very cool special effects and such. She brings a new outlook to the violin, showing the world that the violin is nawt an instrument to fall asleep too, and can be just as cool/ waaaaay cooler than an electric guitar! Look her up, you'll be blown away by how she uses a classical instrument to create totally modern music. Trust me, it's way better than that Tik Tok song. *seethes with anger* lol Calii knows how much I despise that song :P

My cousin Sam called me yesterday from Chennai to wish me a happy 12. She's one month older than me and kind of short. It's very cool because we are at the exact same stage in our lives, experiencing the same problems and obstacles, separated only by a vast ocean. I do so miss her, and I'm super excited to see her in the summer!

Andhra Pradesh, an Indian state, is officially going to split into two. It's so sad because we're all brothers and sisters, we cry the same tears, smile the same smiles, the same blood flows through our veins, yet we create so many divisions, boundaries (asyndeton-just thought i should point it out and ruin the moment :D), but we are all united, together, the same. It's a shame that because of simple beliefs so many people have suffered, died, bonds have been severed so quickly and cruelly, and we don't even hesitate to cut ourselves off from one another. It's a shame, really.

Anyway, I'm off to sunlight's house. Have a good rest-of-weekend and rest-of-your-life, while we're at it :)

I think I'm an optimist at least I hope so! The thing about travel is definitely TRUE. I love, love, love traveling and learning about foreign countries.
